What does it mean if a drug test is CLIA Waived?

CLIA waived drug tests are test systems that have been approved for a waiver basde on the CLIA 7-point criteria system, as well as tests cleared by the FDA for home use, as listed in the CLIA regulations.

Are urine drug tests reliable?

Our urine dipstick drug test kits always provide up to 99% accurate results making them one of the most reliable drug test methods on the market.

When is the most optimal time to perform a urine drug test if I suspect recent drug use?

The minimum detection time in urine for most drugs is approximately 2 to 7 hours, so you may collect a sample after this time frame.

Is it possible for a person to test positive for marijuana (THC) just by being around someone who has smoked it?

The short answer is no. Instant drug test kits have detection cutoff levels that are high enough to avoid any false positive drug test results just from being exposed to marijuana smoke.

Can poppy seeds cause a false positive on a 12 panel drug test dip card?

While very rare, it is possible for poppy seeds to cause a false positive for opiates on urine drug testing. If poppy seeds are suspected of causing a false positive, TestCountry recommends following up confirmation laboratory testing.

12 Panel Urine Dip Card Instructions for Use:

1: Remove the 12 panel drug test dip card from the sealed foil pouch.
2: Remove the cap from the end of the urine dip card and immerse the absorbent tip into the urine specimen, holding for 10 seconds. Urine should not touch the plastic device.
3: Replace the cap back over the absorbent end and place the dip card on a clean, flat, non-absorbent surface.
4: Read the dip card results in between 5 and 10 minutes. Please note: Results read after 10 minutes are to be considered invalid.

Reading Instant Urine Dip Card Results:

  • Negative drug test results have two lines - one line in the control region and one line in the test region. Please note: Even the faintest line indicates a negative test result.
  • Presumptive positive results will show only one line in the control region.
  • Invalid drug test results will have no line in the control region. If this occurs, please discard the current dip card and repeat test again with a new device. If this continues to happen, please stop using and contact a TestCountry representative for assistance.
