How can I prevent invalid test results?

SalivaConfirm oral devices have a unique collection sponge that includes a color changing indicator when sufficient saliva has been collected for testing. Ensure that the collection sponge is pressed fully into the testing device, until you can hear a click that the sponge is in place. If results do not appear on all panels while the test device is upright, move the device around to distribute the saliva sample, so that all panels can be saturated. You can perform multiple saliva collections with collections sponges to be used with the same test device, for all panels to be saturated.

What is the average shelf life of your oral drug tests?

Our SalivaConfirm Premium Saliva Test Kits typically have a shelf life of around 10-12 months. Drug test kits which include Alcohol on the panels have shorter shelf lives.

What is the benefit of your new saliva saturation indicator?

In the past we noticed it was often difficult for donor's to know when they had sufficiently saturated the oral drug swab, which often caused issues with invalid test results if the swab was too dry. As a solution, we created the saliva indicator which turns pink when sufficient sample has been collected, eliminating the need to guess when the test was ready to be performed.

What are some benefits of using a saliva swab drug screen vs. a urine drug test?

There are many benefits to using a saliva based drug test including ease of use, ability to detect drugs sooner than urine tests, more hygienic, cheat proof and ability to perform the drug test anytime and anywhere.

Do these saliva drug tests need special storage?

No, our SalivaConfirm Premium oral drug tests can safely be stored at room temperature until they reach their expiration dates without risking the validity of the test device.

How long does it take for the results of this saliva drug test kit?

Results of the alcohol test should be read at 3 minutes while the oral drug test results should be read at 10 minutes. Do not read after 10 minutes.

What's the average shelf life of the AlcoScreen saliva alcohol test kits?

The AlcoScreen saliva test kits have an average shelf life of 12 months. For exact expiration dates, please give us a call.

Instructions:

1: Collect specimen and remove the 10 panel drug test from the sealed foil pouch.
2: Remove the cap from the end of the urine dip card and immerse the absorbent tips into the urine specimen, holding for 10 seconds. Urine should not touch the plastic device.
3: Replace cap on device and lay on a clean, flat, non-absorbent surface.
4: Read the drug test results in between 5 and 10 minutes. Please note: Results read after 10 minutes are to be considered invalid.

Reading Results:

  • Negative test results have two lines - one line in the control region and one line in the test region. Please note: Even the faintest line indicates a negative test result.
  • Presumptive positive results will show only one line in the control region.
  • Invalid drug test results will have no line in the control region. If this occurs, please discard the current dip card and repeat test again with a new device. If this continues to happen, please stop using and contact TestCountry for assistance.
