What does it mean when a urine drug test is CLIA Waived?
A CLIA Waived drug test is a test systems that has been approved for a waiver based on the CLIA 7-point criteria, as well as tests cleared by the FDA for home use, as listed in the CLIA regulations. This waiver means a test is held to the highest of standards and offers the most trustworthy results.
When is the most optimal time to perform a urine drug test if I suspect recent drug use?
The minimum detection time in urine for most drugs is approximately 2 to 7 hours, so you may collect a sample after this time frame.
What is a urine drug test cut-off level?
The drug test cut-off level is the specified amount of a drug metabolite in a urine test specimen. Above this level, the test is considered positive. Below this level, a test is considered negative.
12 Panel Drug Test Instructions for Use:
Remove test device from the foil pouch and label the cup with the donor's information.
Remove the test cup lid and have the donor urinate directly into the cup, making sure to provide a urine sample that's a minimum of 30ml to a maximum of 110ml.
Once the donor has collected the urine sample, ask them to securely place the lid back on the test device, then return the test to the collection official.
Peel back the label to reveal the test panels and verify the adulteration strip against the color chart provided. If results indicate that adulteration has occurred, discard the test cup without reading the drug test results and repeat steps 1-3, instructing the donor to recollect their sample with a new test cup.
Read the results at 5 minutes. Results read after 10 minutes should be considered invalid
How to Read the Adulteration Test Results:
You can read the results of the Adulteration Test Immediately after collection.
Visually compare the color of each reagent area to its corresponding color blocks on the color chart.
Obtain results by direct color chart comparison
How to Read the Drug Test Results:
Negative drug test results will show two lines - one line in the control region and one line in the test region.
Presumptive positive results will have only one line in the control region. If a test fails to show a line in the control region, this indicates an invalid drug test result.
Invalid drug test results occur when no line appears in the control region. Should this occur, repeat the test with a new device. If results are still invalid, please stop using the test cups and contact a TestCountry representative.
